Tickled Pink

Continuing a Theme, our new Faded Elegance booth decor shows how elegant and versatile black and white can be. Bringing in soft pinks creates a feminine and warm environment, perfect for the cold days of winter as we hope for an early spring.

The small dining table is also a perfect desk - delicate lines and a compact size make it able to fit nicely into a living room corner or home office, or even a bedroom as a dressing table. Lots of silver makes it sparkle! (And I guess the fact that I pull out old copies of Victoria and coordinate them with my theme makes me really obsessive, huh?!)
A bit of silky pink fabric, a few bouquets of pink flowers...and the mood is completely changed. This is why neutrals are such a great decorating staple - you can have a whole new room/house every season!

love love love this lamp! I adore the shade, which I made from my stash of vintage ribbons, including some sassy pink ribbon garters!, and just look at the little cherubs on the lamp base. Isn't this perfect for Valentine's Day?!

A few detail shots, including the bouquet that I made from vintage flowers and ribbons, baubles and bits - you can even see the very real cubic zirconia engagement ring tied on one ribbon!

There are some paper packs, too, perfect for making special Valentine collages or cards. Each one contains vintage sheet music, stenographer's lesson pages full of great words to use, ribbons & flowers mixed with new printed papers and thrifted cards, as well as a very 'Victoria'-look Valentine's postcard.

I'd like to send out a big 'thank you' to Kimberly, owner of Faded Elegance, for the lovely soiree' she hosted last night as a thank you to her dealers. Wine, food, great company.... it was wonderful to visit with women who have a passion for decorating, antiques, and shopping!
